Cast as Gloria/Nan in Street Corner Arts' production of GLORIA.

This funny, trenchant, and powerful play follows an ambitious group of editorial assistants at a notorious Manhattan magazine, each of whom hopes for a starry life of letters and a book deal before they turn thirty. But when an ordinary humdrum workday becomes anything but, the stakes for who will get to tell their own story become higher than ever.

Running April 3 - 19 at Hyde Park Theatre.

July 2019 - Cast as June in Shrewd Productions' upcoming National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of ALABASTER by Audrey Cefaly

A darkly comic southern drama about love, art, and the power of women. This heart-wrenching story of a reclusive Alabama folk artist won the David Calicchio Emerging American Playwright Prize. After a tornado barrels through town leaving nothing but death and destruction, only June and her pet goat Weezy live to tell the tale. When a prominent photographer visits to take pictures of June’s scars, both are forced to reconcile the pain of loss and recovery. This all-female drama explores the meaning and purpose of art and the struggle of the lost and tortured souls that seek to create it.

Opening February 21, 2020 at the Dougherty Arts Center.

May 2019 - Announced as the Duchess in Hidden Room's THE DUCHESS OF MALFI

Inspired by actual events, John Webster's haunting and macabre Jacobean drama follows the story of the virtuous Duchess of Malfi, widowed into power and doggedly antagonized by her jealous, corrupt, and power-hungry brothers. Following her heart and defying convention, she marries her steward in secret, but how long can she keep it hidden from those who seek to ruin her, and how far will her brothers go to secure their place in the royal court?

Running September 27 - October 20 at the York Rite of Austin. This production of Hidden Room's The Duchess of Malfi will also perform at London's Globe Theatre in the summer of 2020.

SPRITES (Fantastic Fest Selection 2018) featured on Short Of the Week and in Fast Company
Short of the Week
...SPRITES bowled me over with its intelligent direction and absorbing character dynamics. Furthermore, the stripped back set design, the lack of special effects or fancy editing, and the performance-led approach felt like it was a piece that could work just as well on a theatrical stage, as it does on our computer screens...The performances were superb too. In fact, the characters were so well rounded and convincing, I was sure the two female leads, played by Liz Beckham and Lee Eddy, were in a relationship.

Fast Company
It’s a realistic depiction of how easily we become used to technologies that seem ridiculous (and ridiculously unnecessary) when first introduced.

October 2018 - Cast as Angelica in Hidden Room's THE ROVER

The Rover on its surface is a fresh, lighthearted, and remarkably modern sex romp, detailing the amorous adventures of dashing English Cavaliers and a family of brave and beautiful Spanish gentlewomen at Carnival time. Masks and costumes allow these would-be lovers to break out of their everyday lives and play out their fantasies. But just beneath the play's lusty facade, The Rover frees its female characters to kick at the cages of societal demands to be mother, wife, whore, or saint - and bites at unchecked power with shockingly sharp teeth.

RUNNING FEBRUARY 15 - MARCH 3

January 2018 - Cast as Georgie Burns in ZACH Theatre's HEISENBERG

Amidst the crowds of a London train station, Georgie, a delightfully quirky woman, spots Alex, a much older man, and impulsively plants a kiss on his neck. This electric encounter thrusts these two strangers into a fascinating game of love that is never what it seems. In the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, the closer you get to something the less you know about it, and such is the case for the uncertain and often-comical sparring match that is Georgie and Alex’s need to truly connect with each other. Intimately staged on ZACH’s cozy Kleberg Stage.

December 2016 - Honored TWICE in the Austin Chronicle's feature Robert Faires' Top 10 (+1) Theatre Riches of 2016

#4 - Lungs : "The tiny venue on 43rd has rarely felt more intimate than while eavesdropping on the couple in Duncan Macmillan's two-hander. With actors Michael Joplin and Liz Beckham literally in our midst (thanks, director Lily Wolff) and both being so emotionally open and vulnerable, we felt close to them in every way."

#3 - Clybourne Park : "The nuances of Bruce Norris' time-jumping conversation about race in America might've been blunted without this cast's sensitive acting and sterling ensemble work, directed by Nathan Jerkins. But every line and look brought home the wrenching difficulty of dealing with black-white relations, then and now."

December 2016 - Honored TWICE on Austin 360's Best of Live Theatre in Austin: A Critic's 2016 Picks

#9 - Clybourne Park : "Clybourne Park was a funny, intellectual, confrontational meditation on some of American history’s most troubling legacies."

#1 - Lungs : "With powerful, nuanced, funny, heartbreaking performances by Liz Beckham and Michael Joplin,
Lungs was spoke to me on a deep, direct, personal level . . . and I have thought about it frequently ever since. That is why it was by far my favorite production of the year, and I look forward to more work from Wolff, Beckham, Joplin, and Hyde Park Theatre in 2017."

Liz has studied, worked and lived in New York & Los Angeles, can tie cherry stems in a knot in her mouth (8 second personal record), is a Showcase Showdown winner on The Price Is Right (yes: Bob Barker), and can cross one eye at a time. She also shares a birthday with Julie Andrews, still knows her tap jury routine from college, and seriously regrets quoting a Billy Joel song in the caption of her high school yearbook photo.

She currently lives in Austin, Texas with her dog, Harriet, and her husband who is not an actor and would rather keep to himself, thank you very much.
